"Everything and everyone has a spiritual home".

Mystical South Island New Zealand
"Walking Tall Journey"

An amazing journey focusing on self Mastery and Global change.

Imagine a program based on principles of human potential, a futuristic approach to personal wholeness set amongst the history of a people steeped in freedom, spiritual and cultural ritual. Where you can re-find your spiritual self. You will be guided by special teachers and leaders. You will have the opportunity to individually explore all seven areas of life as well as enjoying a multinational group dynamic with a common purpose.

The Challenge

Walking Tall is as much of a personal journey as it is an external journey - a spirit-filled journey visiting sacred sites of Aotearoa and experiencing the energy of the land. The physical aspects are inspiring and heart-warming as we walk and travel through the valleys surrounded by the Southern Alps, the mountains of ‘Aotearoa’ - the land of the long white cloud.
Sharing wisdom, awareness, insights and knowledge of the Waitaha peoples and awe. We visit sacred sites, walk along part of the ‘peace’ trail, relax in hot thermal pools, play with the dolphins and whales at Kaikoura. Meet Maori carvers of the greenstone – pounamu, the peace stone of the Waitaha peoples in Hokitika. You will meet a master guide, Barry railsford, who was entrusted by the Maori elders to tell their story and share their sacred knowledge.

Barry says “if we lose our story we lose our dream and if we lose our dream the spirit dies.”

This journey is about re-finding our story so that we may own our wholeness.

You will share stories around the fire at night.

You’ll study every night in a very informal form of debrief, sharing moments and remembering those moments, like sitting next to or climbing thousands of year old ancient rock statues.

The Location

Our journey is located in the valley in the heart of the South Island of New Zealand at Castle Hill, a village known by the Maori elders, as the ‘heart of the waka’ – for the South Island is the shape of the canoe, and waka is the Maori word
for canoe. In this area, the ancient knowledge is held – in nature, in the rocks, the trees, the rivers and the land. It is a very powerful energy surrounded by mountains.

Tu-ranga-wae-wae - ‘the place where we stand tall’, in our true nature and own our inner power. A place of authenticity.

Finding our sanctuary offers a special strength and nurture. Sometimes we are called to stand in its wonder, to speak to our mountain and our river, to remember the ancestors and honour once more our dreams, our story.

We also journey to surrounding areas to experience the awesome wonder of the Southern Alps, the rivers, the rocks and the special vista of the sacred places and land.

WHO Walks Tall?

These journeys are for true leaders, journeyers, ‘inventurers’ – our term for individuals who adventure inwardly through outdoor experience, sitting around the fire late into the evening with special elders, your fellow Walking Tall journeyers and your guides. For those leaders who have decided to re-connect with their story through walking in nature, feeling the energy of land and ultimately re-finding one’s ‘dream’. The heart of the waka provides a perfect place in which to do this.

Educational

Each day has a theme and we study and learn from both the environment and many special people and places that we share time with. You are always free to explore. But the deepest exploration will come from your own magical journey. Your vision and destiny in these mountains just gets stronger with each step and each moment. You will be provided with comfortable surroundings. All the rest is up to you!

Program Design

The conference/seminar in the heart of the Waka is a program focused on the Future. Exploring humanity in business, development of human potential, global trends, current illusions, personal magnetism, mind powers, and the power of knowing what is your story. Sessions are primarily informal and include personal/individual discussions throughout the
journey. Lunchtime gatherings, evening get togethers provide opportunities to share experience and develop topics of interest. Individuals will also have time to do alone things. Discussions will be supported by field notes at the end of the experience.

Take Home

Understanding one’s footprints is a very powerful journey in life.

Knowing your Destiny (purpose) helps with a sense of wholeness and connectedness to your story. For in the knowing the healing and wonder begins
- this is the essence of what you will find as you journey into integration and wholeness.

This is a very personal, deep exploration of selfawareness, knowing, global future, and cultural experience. A way to deepen your spiritual commitment, gain global leadership skills and improve the quality of your life in a most spectacular environment.

Note: Because of the high demand these Walking Tall journeys fill quickly. Register soon to avoid disappointment. The next will be end of September early October 2006.
Numbers are restricted to 6-7 people for the journey as, from experience, the intimacy of small groups is invaluable and allows for focus to be on you as an individual as you re-find your story and define your footprints.
